Would the platuim plus cause a stomach ache for several days. My Daughter is taken the Platuim Plus because she has low blood sugar and it helps to level her out. She takes the platuim in morning but sometimes does not eat anything, would that cause it? 11/19/2004

From my own experience and those of others I know that in the beginning Platinum can cause stomach aches. This is usually a problem with the lining of the stomach being weak. It takes about ten days to heal and the cause is increased HCL production which causes stomach aches. This is due to sensitivity from the pancreas producing enzymes the body hasn't had in a long time.

The way to deal with this is cut back on the amount taken at one time and take it with a meal, then after four days take it ten minutes before a meal then after a week take it thirty minutes before a meal then go up to 1 HR. after another week

Platinum Plus amino acids are taken before meals. They “turn” the pancreas on so it can produce the proper enzymes for digestion. This helps break down systemic proteins for better absorption into the body. Without these systemic proteins it is very hard for the body to heal itself.

What is the difference between your essential Amino Acids and the Platinum Formula?

The only difference between the two amino blends is that the Platinum has 3 extra ingredients for muscle energy(Creatine monohydrate - 50mgs), liver support during Phase 1 & 2 detox (MSM Methyl Sulfonyl Methane the natural kind, non- allergic - 200mgs, Molybdenum - 30mcgs).

Hi, I think I read that Platinum Plus contains sulfur .... I am allergic to sulfa and cannot take sulfa-containing antiobiotics, glucosamine sulfate, chondroitin, etc. Can I take Platinum Plus? I have severe arthritis in my neck. Thanks for your help.

People often get organic sulfur, which is an essential nutrient, confused with sulfonamides, the group of sulfa drugs to which many people are allergic.

Sulfanilimide is an antibiotic and a drug. Sulfur is the mineral essential to life. MSM sulfur is as harmless as water!

Do you know of any amino acid blends which contain at least 20 amino acids and are gluten-free and are from only vegetable sources

Platinum Plus Essential Amino Acids are Free Form Amino Acids which come from vegetable and biological sources such as potatoes, beets, sugar cane etc. There are No Animal Protiens in this product. So in reality as long as the amino acids are free form and pure there would be no differences if they came from any other sources. It is recommended that you stay on the diet a full month, then slowly start adding certain foods back. The next month or two the candida diet resembles the Akins or South Beach diets. Any foods added back should be done one at a time so to be sure they don't have any negative effects.

The mercury fillings are never good, but as long as the amino's are being taken they shouldn't be a problem. We do however recommend, when possible, having them replace.

As far as continuing to use the amino products, clients that continue to use the amino products on a maintenance schedule do so as one would take a multiple vitamin. The added digestion enzymes the amino's create are beneficial to your overall health and with protein deficiency. We have many clients that swear by the aminos and do take them as an ongoing dietary supplement, many others do not.

Some Fibromyalgia patients have experienced symptoms returning after being off our product for a year or so. This is caused by the protein deficiency that was originally causing their bodies degeneration. Since not much is known about what kind of life style these people live it is hard for us to say why other then the lack of protein that is needed daily for the body to heal.

We are mostly concerned for your health, the knowledge we give is free and feel it is your choice whether you wish to remain on the product or not. Some individuals have had FM for so long that it takes longer for them to heal, others heal within a few months. But just because the symptoms are gone does not mean the FM is completely cured. You may order the Fibro Protocol from our web sites and do not need a physician for treatment. Many of our clients take our products on their own. The Fibro Protocol can give you some discomfort in the beginning because the body will start to eliminate it's toxic elements. It is very important to be on the Candida diet and it is good you have started.

Unfortunately, we can not predict what your reactions might be once you are on the diet and FM Protocol. Each person is different. Some people feel sick for a couple of weeks, where others don't. Some heal within a month and others who are very sick take longer. The good news is every person that has gone on our FM Protocol has gotten better.

One thing to keep in mind, many people who have gotten better have stopped taking the Platinum Plus Amino Acids feeling that they didn't need it anymore.
